In my last week’s column, I talked about John Lloyd Cruz’s admission of his budding relationship with fellow Kapamilya, Shaina Magdayao. He confirmed all speculations, saying that he and Vina Morales’ younger sister are, indeed, an item.

Now that the buzz is verified, yet another revelation could shake things up for Lloydie.

Did he or did he not start his affair with Shaina while still involved with Ruffa Gutierrez?

In a recent interview, Ruffa revealed her confusion that she and the younger actress have overlapped one another, where their personal love connections with the Philippine box office king is concerned.

Contrary to what should have been Ruffa’s initial reaction to this realization, she instead spoke highly of John Lloyd and even told the paparazzi that the “overlap” issue does not matter anymore now. She still considers Lloydie a gentleman and true to his word that he would not be speaking ill of her.

So many women, so little time – and that is why, sometimes, they overlap and form the proverbial and dreaded love triangle.

Life nowadays for former child star Patrick Garcia must be really good, now that he has been finally allowed to kiss and hug his son, Alex Jazz.

AJ is his love child with Kapuso star, Jennylyn Mercado.

After three long years, Jen told the press she is now amenable to Patrick visiting her home to be with their son. Now that’s a big move for Jen, who really held grudges against Pat for years.

When Jennylyn released this statement, Patrick was out of the country. It was his sister, Chesca (Garcia-Kramer), who related the story to him.

Now that everything is a-okay for Jen and Pat, the two can finally move on with their lives, the bad blood between them eradicated. We all grow up and laugh at our mistakes, and this is probably what Jen has in mind all along.

To forgive is easy; to forget is another story. One at a time, Jen, one at a time.

Kris Aquino has just ended her 10-year-old ties with The Buzz.

This has been, to date, the greatest sacrifice of the ‘Queen of All Media’ when it comes to her career. Now that her brother is president, it is just proper for her to be cautious with what she says, given the controversies and scandals with which she has been involved.

Kris herself cannot even imagine that she was able to do it – to finally decide that leaving the show is the best thing she can do for now, for her brother.

She, however, asked one favor from the staff and crew of the show: do not make a story about her.

Hmm, I just don’t think this promise can be kept though.

Because before she left the talk show last Sunday, she confessed to everyone that her 5- year marriage with basketball hunk James Yap is now in the dumpster, too.

Former Kapamilya Claudine Baretto is still very much happy to be a Kapuso, even though she was absent during the network’s anniversary concert.

Speculations rose she was having marital problems with hubby Raymart Santiago, which is why she was a no-show. Claudine, however, shrugged the news off and even told the press that she and Raymart are even attending marriage counseling once or twice a month to strengthen further their relationship. They are very much okay, and that there is nothing to worry about.

Asked, on the other hand, if she is ready to work again with controversial ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez, Claudine cannot give a clear answer at all.

There has been news lately that Mark Anthony will be appearing in her drama series in GMA 7 soon.

This remains to be seen. For now, let us continue to wish happiness for Claudine and Raymart.

Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano will be together as one, once more, but not in a concert though. The two will be co-hosting ABS-CBN’s game show entitled, Twist and Shout, airing July 3.

The former sensational rivals have proven that they create a good tandem, convincing even the management of the station to give them a show of their own.

Martin also tipped the news bowl, telling everyone that he has been offered a stint in Wowowee. He turned it down because of his poor Tagalog skills, and just recommended his partner Gary V. for the job.

Rivalry between the two has long been gone, and it is delightful to see that these two are making good appearances, and music, together.
