For ‘first sister’ Kris Aquino-Yap, her five-year marriage is over. But his estranged husband, cager James Yap, seems to think otherwise.
James is very willing to win the heart once more of his wife, and save their marriage for the umpteenth time around.
In a statement he released a few days ago, James, 28, expressed his sadness over the soured marriage, and sounded determined to reunite with Kris and their son,Baby James. Reportedly, Kris and her kids have moved out of their home and will be taking a break from the limelight by going abroad.
The shooting guard of Derby Aces, through his official statement, reiterated that for years people did not hear anything from him every time he and his wife had a rift. It is only now that he breaks his silence and appears determined to win his family back. This, not only to assert his role as head of the family, but also to fulfill the promise he made in the deathbed of former President Cory Aquino – that he will take care of Kris, Baby James, and Josh no matter what.
This is yet the biggest blow to Kris’ and James’ marriage, and people are still hoping for them to be able to fix it. Baby James is too young to have a broken family.
Way back when Kris and James went public and announced their civil marriage, we all thought that this was her fairytale ending. But with Kris …. heck, that’ll be the day!

Come September, Wowowee will wow its fans no more.
A Kapamilya insider broke news that ABS-CBN will be recalibrating its noontime programming by reformatting other shows and, alas, dropping Wowowee. Another source said the five-year-old noontime favorite would be replaced by a game show to be hosted by Kris Aquino. (After controversially saying goodbye to SNN and The Buzz, we hope the touted ‘queen of all media’ would fare better and not distract his brother, the country’s new president.
Reports have also been relayed that there is a big chance Robin Padilla would do a comeback by having his own TV show. Robin, as you know, hosted Wowowee for two weeks – and by golly, he nailed it.
With all these information out in the open, a question begs an answer: What will happen to Willie Revillame?
Willie is remembered to have a misunderstanding with fellow reporter Joebert Sucaldito. He even dared Kapamilya management network to fire Joebert, or he leaves Channel 2.
Because his contract with ABS-CBN does not expire until next year, he cannot do any freelance projects with other stations.
For now, Willie remains in the freezer.

Could Rufa Mae Quinto’s mystery boyfriend be not mysterious after all?
A bomb has been dropped and the press has finally named Rufa’s so-called “boyfriend” — none other than the former president’s son, Mikey Arroyo.
Yes, Mikey Arroyo, a.k.a. a married family man.
News have circulated the showbiz world that everytime Mikey hosts a party, Rufa Mae is said to be there to entertain him. Reporters cannot help but wonder why Rufa Mae has never been seen with the boyfriend, nor has she introduced him publicly or otherwise. Yet she even talks about wedding plans, but very, very vaguely of course.
The rumor about her and Mikey are not at all palatable to many, so if at all Rufa needs to set things straight, she should come out in the open and remain mysterious …. and silly.

“Breathtaking” could be an understatement in defining Bench’s latest fashion show, entitled Uncut.Last July 2, 2010, clothing line Bench has once more captivated the hearts of Filipinos by showcasing its latest trends, modeled by the country’s top celebrities.
It was a night of collaboration between and among Kapamilya and Kapuso stars.
With a futuristic theme, fans were able to see the personalities – sometimes fully clothed, at times, barely. Dingdong Dantes graced the opening of the show, while hottie Jake Cuenca closed the runway.
Paparazzi peeps also did ambush interviews with Karylle, asking her if she got the chance to rub elbows with her former love, Dingdong. But the two were not given the chance to catch up with each other.
As observed by the entertainment press, the Kapamilya actors had the most number of applauses from the audience.
But then again, who cares? It was neither a Kapamilya nor Kapuso night.
All the kudos belong to the man of the night, Mr. Ben Chan, who truly continues to prove that Filipinos are worth “styling” for.

We all know that the two became lovers and just like the usual thing, ended up as friends. We remember, too, seeing the video of her and Chard having a “cozy” time. This scandal circulated via cellular phones and even in the Internet.
“In Your Eyes” is their first movie together. But when Anne was still starting inGMA 7, the two have worked together in several sitcoms.
So how does it feel to be working with a significant other from the past?
According to insiders, Anne is very much comfortable now with Richard, and they have remained friends since the break-up. Since they belong to the same circle of friends, getting along with each other was not a problem at all. She says Chard has matured, and he says the same thing about Anne too.
Changes are embraced by people who aspire for contentment and happiness, and Anne seems to be embracing it pretty well.
Because after Richard Gutierrez and Sam Milby, she is now spreading her arms wide open to her rumored boyfriend, Filipino-French businessman Erwan Heusaff.
