This indie film actor goes by a new moniker lately. The head honchos of Cinemalaya must have loved his performance in the film, “Donor” (directed by Mark Meily), that they gave him his second Best Actor award.

Baron “Bagong Buhay” Geisler is, indeed, someone who still shines even if bad publicities continue to pour down on him. Winning his second Best Actor award from Cinemalaya, Baron is thankful that people are able to see what he is truly made of – not just the notoriety brought upon him by here-and-there sexual harassment charges.

As of this writing, Baron is already being managed by Arnold Vegafria and no longer by Direk Maryo J. Delos Reyes. So is this the reason why he decided to turn over a new leaf?

According to reports, Arnold tirelessly challenged the people of ABS-CBN, asking them to give Baron a second chance. The risk-taker that he is, embracing Baron in his hands was really a tough decision for him.

Arnold’s efforts paid off though, because the Kapamilya network entrusted Baron with not one, but two shows to join in. Baron shares the boob-tube with his fellow actors and actresses in “Elias Paniki” and “Noah.” Not only that, Baron has even been included in Star Cinema’s latest horror flick, “Cinco.”

Need proof that Baron has put all issues behind him? He pulled a great adlib in “Cinco” after doing a steamy kissing scene with star Kristel Moreno, whose character reacts to Baron’s aggressive moves.

“Ano, sasampahan mo ako ng sexual harassment? Lumang style na ‘yan! (Now what? You want to file sexual harassment charges against me? That’s out of style already!),” he blurted

That gave us a good laugh, Baron!

We bet no amount of words could express the happiness Angelica Panganiban feels right now. Derek Ramsay has pledged to her that he will move the mountains to make Angel see the wonders of the world.

He even mentioned that if it is marriage that Angel wants, marriage is what Angel will get.

She will play the role of a Filipino exchange student, and she is bound to scare the hell-high notes out of Rachel, portrayed by Lea Michele.

Rumor has it that she will also be completing the love triangle of Finn and Rachel. Wow, Charice is really doing this big time!

What is really the score between Willie Revillame and ABS-CBN?

Just days ago, word was out that there is no stopping Willie from rising above the waters. As confirmed by his confidante Cristy Fermin in recent interviews, Willie is reportedly set to return and continue with his noontime show, Wowowee.

Cristy narrated to the entertainment portal that ABS-CBN president Charo Santos and Willie have met halfway to arrange the ‘comeback of the year.’

Willie is remembered to have challenged the Kapamilya management due to a word brawl with showbiz scooper Joebert Sucaldito.

But another insider tells the media that Kris Aquino was offered a hosting job for a different 12-noon show. And yes, Kris allegedly has already accepted the ABS-CBN offer.

So, really, what?

Call it a put-on, but Ruffa Mae Quinto can’t be crying everytime her love life is put into spotlight.

Not so long ago, GuessWhat wrote about Ruffa Mae’s mysterious “Mr. M”. We really did not have a clue on who this guy is; not even a picture has come out to identify her prince charming.

A few days back, she and her co-stars in the graced the press conference for the GMA 7 sitcom, “Kaya ng Powers,” and when the media people started to ask Ruffa to bring out a picture of Mr.M, she said yes. This brought delight to everybody in the room

But lo and behold! As she was about to reach for the picture from her bag, she started to cry. And she could not stop. Even when people started to comfort her, tears just kept flowing.

When she left the prescon, she was still crying-crazy.

So much for Mr. M. Ruffa Mae’s powers cannot handle the issue anymore, huh?
