Guess What

By MARIA CARMELA I. QUINTO

It allegedly seems that Piolo Pascual’s son is not a big fan of KC Concepcion after all.

Making hit waves in the air nowadays is the issue of Piolo’s son, Iñigo, posting a nasty comment in his so-called Twitter account; saying that KC is a bad influence to his father.

However, Piolo has cleared out this rumor by making known to everyone through his official statement that his son has not created any account in the abovementioned social networking site. Furthermore, Iñigo’s Facebook account has been hacked too.

As of this writing though, nothing has been proved yet whether it was him who really tweeted the remark, or not. Hmm, why would he give such comments about KC?

We all know that KC has made her mark in the showbiz industry, as someone who is worth emulating. A UNICEF-World Food Program ambassador; a model student; a responsible and obedient daughter – how on earth could she be of bad company to PJ?

Hmmm, is it safe to ask that KC and PJ might be hiding skeletons in their closets after all?

Since Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid are making sweet music together, they might as well consider having wedding bells as part of their harmonic arrangements.

Rumor has it that come December 2010, the lovebirds will finally take their relationship to a higher note. Marriage has always been in the vocabulary of the two, and they have always longed for the legalization of their affair.

Just recently, the Asia’s Songbird confessed in her Sunday musical-variety show that she wants to have a baby. Stated as-a-matter-of-factly, Regine is not getting any younger. Ogie on the other hand, mentioned to the press that he wants everything to be settled before they add a member in their love band.

Fresh from the grapevine, the Songbird and the Songwriter are indeed making plans for their much-awaited day. As for the date, December 22 has yet to be confirmed.

What stays true is that there is a musical wedding in the making.

GMA 7’s Starstruck alumni Paulo Avelino and LJ Reyes are now parents to a bouncing baby boy.

LJ has just given birth to their first child, Ethan Akio.

The two met in the set of the celebrity search show and have dated for the last two years. They actually shocked the entertainment press when the news broke out that the young actress is pregnant.
She chose to gave birth in the US, away from the father. Paulo is reported to be leaving the country soon to dote on his newborn-baby.

Guess What wishes all the best for LJ and Paulo. May this blessing bring you more love, peace and happiness!

Should the word “beautiful” always carry the limelight of the catwalk, the perfect curves and flawless skin?

Apparently, this is how Mo Twister defined the word when he called the famous comedian Pokwang, “ugly”.

The radio show host was not even able to give reasons on why he disliked Pokwang, according to reports. He just thinks that she does not deserve to be called beautiful.

Asked for her comment on this, Pokwang gave the media a good laugh by saying that Mo Twister will definitely fall in love with her once he sets his eyes on her beauty.

Moreover, she is too busy with her work to dwell on such nasty remark. Pokwang even kidded that maybe Mo Twister was doing all this for publicity.

Back at you Mo Twister, maybe you should review the real definition of “beauty”.

Who could ever forget Cesar Montano’s exceptional performance in the films Jose Rizal (1998) and Muro Ami (1999)? These films collected a number of awards not only in the Philippines but also in other countries.

These two epic movies were brought to us by GMA 7 and Cesar Montano. And now we are once more assured that we will get to see more films like these now that Buboy is back in his true home, the Kapuso network.

It seems that ABS-CBN was not able to put clarity on the new season premiere of Cesar’s last show in the network, The Singing Bee. According to Buboy himself, Kris Aquino’s GAME KNB will be returning first, putting his show on hold.

The management of the Kapamilya station did not even find it hard to let go of Cesar, and their easy parting of ways all the more strengthened his desire to be a certified GMA 7 talent once again.

His mission to make another smashing movie based on the Philippine’s rich history has been awakened – pretty soon he will be giving life to hero Francisco Dagohoy (according to GMA 7, this will be his first movie as stated in the contract).

His one year exclusivity with Channel 7 will also allow him to do various sitcoms, but what the viewers are excited for is his reunion with the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, who happens to be a Kapuso herself.

The two will be doing a comedy show, to act out as a married couple still. Remember that not so long ago, the two starred in ABS-CBN’s Kaya ni Mister, Kaya ni Misis and Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis.

Now that Cesar Montano has made his homecoming with GMA 7, we cannot but expect spectacular performance from this award-winning actor which would surely help the network’s ratings shoot up.
