Baked Pork Ribs in Apple Sauce

2-3 lbs Pork ribs, sliced

 

Marinade:
2 pcs Apples, sliced
1 pc Ginger (thumb-sized), chopped
4 cloves Garlic, chopped
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup Mirin
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbsps Cornstarch
1/4 cup Water

In a big bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and marinate the ribs.
Transfer marinated ribs with the excess marinade sauce in a casserole.
Cook ribs with the sauce over low until tender.
Transfer ribs into a baking dish and broil until brown.
Baste ribs with sauce.
Serve ribs with thickened sauce.

Fruit Jello
  
4 tbsps Unflavored gelatine
2 cups Water
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Half and half
1 can Fruit Cocktail
1 cup Water
1 cup Sugar

Using a small sauce pan, dissolve gelatine in water.
Heat until gelatine is dissolved. Add sugar and half and half.
Transfer to a bowl.
Cool to set. Cut into cubes.
Pour fruit cocktail with its juice in a sauce pan.
Add water and boil until sauce turns syrupy..
Serve gelatine with fruits, syrup and crushed ice.
